Primary Function:
Responsible for the development and implementation of community activities and marketing strategies for a 1728 apartment community in Blacksburg, VA.

The Marketing and Activity Manager will develop and be responsible to demonstrate strategic sales and marketing objectives, and evaluate the sales performance of others. This position is responsible for marketing the community through the use of effective selling techniques, knowledge of the market- including knowledge of competition and analysis of market data- as well as creation of marketing programs and materials. This position will also plan and execute community activities aimed at fostering a fun, positive community atmosphere for both current residents and prospective renters.

Main expectations:

• Design, manage, and evaluate marketing campaigns.
• Direct social media engagement strategies.
• Manage budgets for marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate with advertising and creative departments.
• Review advertising material for print and digital media.
• Prepare and monitor advertising contracts.

As a member of the Foxridge Team, leasing and customer service is a requirement of the job as needed, as well as any additional duties as assigned.

Comments:
This is an advanced level marketing position. Individual must enjoy dealing with people. Position requires some weekends as needed for events.

Job Type: Full-time

REQUIRED:

• BA/BS degree, preferably in Communications or Marketing
• 5 years of relevant work experience including strong customer service skills, direct sales, marketing/advertising and digital media
• Strong computer and internet skills including all MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook,)
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and time management skills.
